In Game Screenshot Reveal
We know you have all been waiting to see how In Country: Vietnam is progressing and we are now pleased to reveal two new in game screenshots! While we are taking big steps forward in development, please be aware that these screenshots represent works in progress.
The first screenshot is taken from our Truong Son map, more about which you can find here. Set along the Ho Chi Min Trail it's an intense fight over a jungle river crossing near Cambodia.

The second of our screenshots features LZ Betty, a Military Base outside of Phan Thiet which takes players out of the claustrophobic jungle and into the open sands

You may also have noticed that the website has been given a make over - check out our new 'Features' section where we will make available new details about the project in the coming weeks and months
Don't forget you can keep track of our progress on our development blog over at Pop Smoke Games and you can also continue to support us the usual way by either liking us on facebook, following us on twitter, watching us on ModDb or by simply joining the discussion in our forum.
We also still require assistance in key areas . If you are interested in helping work on In Country Vietnam check our jobs board for what is available. We look forward to hearing from you.
In Country Vietnam at GDC 2012

This time last year Tripwire kindly displayed our teaser trailer and mod poster at their 2011 GDC booth. For GDC 2012, we were once again given the opportunity to show off our hard work!
For further images and related development information you can find our full GDC report on our developer's website.

Pop Smoke Developer Blog & ModDB Awards
Our Developer Website 'Pop Smoke Games' is now live and is home to our development blog which will showcase general updates on Pop Smoke, the team currently developing 'In Country: Vietnam' for 'Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad'.
We get a lot of interest and various questions asking 'what we are working on' and 'if we are still active'. The answer is always YES! but we are aiming to be more professional with our press releases and media output related to 'In Country: Vietnam'. This is partly because many of us have worked on past projects that showed a lot of content and material way too early in development, and for one reason or another, we weren't able to keep that feature in game.
We are not intending this to be a formal PR outlet, do not expect really awesome new videos of finished products or anything, as well as some things we spend time on might not pan out so won't make it to the final release.

It's also that time of year again. You might have noticed that it's the 10th annual ‘Mod of the Year’ awards, celebrating all that is great about the modding community.
Even though we are still in the middle of development we would very much like to be featured as one of the 'best upcoming mods'. So if you like what you've seen of 'In Country: Vietnam' so far please vote for us and help spread the word!
